After the wedding, the family moved around quite a bit.
William was always listed as a Tailor in all records. Margaret was always listed as housekeeper.
In 1901 the family lived on Mount Pottinger Road. The older children in the house, Mary & Annie worked as flax weavers while Patrick was a tent maker. The family moved to Saul Street sometime before 1910. William died at the house on Saul Street in 1910. In 1911 Margaret was still living there with her two older children Patrick & Rose. She died in 1929.

The spelling of the family name varied on many of the records including Doogan, Dougan, Dugan and Duggan.
William's birth year is estimate. He was 60 when died on December 4, 1910 from heart failure. His son-in-law James Reynolds was present.

Margaret was born on September 6, 1846 and baptized on September 9th at St. Matthews Church in County Down. Mrs. Reid was her Sponsor.
She died on October 8, 1929 from cardiac failure. Her daughter Mary was by her side.
