Henry & Bridget married 1st in a Civil Ceremony then married again in the Church. Notes on the Church Registration referred to consanguinity and special dispensation received to validate the marriage. The couple were related by blood(2nd cousins).
After Bridget's death in 1919, Henry and his adult children moved to 19 Altcar Street. After his daughter Mary died in 1921, Henry was left with the responsibility of raising his infant grandson Thomas Parks.
The McCabe's lived together in a number of houses on Altcar Street where Henry remained until his death in 1934.
